The average person will only read 20% of the words on your website.

Because of this, a lot of people (perhaps even your coach) will tell you that websites aren’t important.

They’ll say it’s actually Instagram stories. Or funnels. Or whatever digital marketing fad is currently having a moment in the online business world.

Because when you have one that works, you wonder how you ever did business without it. You certainly don’t wonder if you need it.

Like it or not, people are going to be looking at your site. 

Even if you bury it at the bottom of your LinkTree. Even if you hope they’ll just message you on LinkedIn. Even if you think no-one’s clicking.

Your ideal clients want to get to know you. 

So imagine their disappointment when they get excited enough to hit up your URL, hoping to buy from you, but instead find something out of date and hard to navigate.

 

Here’s the kicker: as much as great website copy seals the deal, BAD copywriting (or even copy that sounds like everyone else) breaks it.

  • Absolutely. If you’ve been in business a while, are used to marketing and talking about your offers in some way (social media, email lists, podcasts) and have served clients with your current offers, you absolutely have enough to get great results from Write Your Site Right.

  • This is a programme for people who enjoy writing, but find themselves tripping over things like structure when they try to write or update their website. You second-guess yourself and struggle to succinctly describe what you do. Basically, you’d like more confidence that what you’re putting out there is going to bring results.

    The framework I teach will work for business owners who have a consulting, coaching or other service-based business. It won’t work for product-business owners at this time. If you’re unsure if it will be a good fit for you, ask me :)

  • YES!! I’ve designed the modules in Write Your Site Right for those who already have a basic understanding of marketing copy. You may have been writing to an email list for a while, posting on social media, or even completed other more general copywriting courses in the past. 

    This will build on everything you already know to craft a killer website with no hard-sell tactics in sight.

  • This isn’t a passive course where you need to find loads of time in your busy schedule and watch endless generic videos. I’ll give you bite-sized, live trainings each week. Chunking away at every aspect of creating a magnetic site and message so that there is a clear area of focus every time we meet. 

    During our time together we’ll meet twice a week (once for the live trainings, once for the co-working) and catch up in Slack. This isn’t a six-month programme with a sky-high price tag. This is a short, sharp and highly effective two-month process where you’ll see results if you can find time in your diary to honour the calls (or catch up), take action, and put in the work.

  • We're going to be working closely together – I’d allocate around 3-4 hours per week to make things happen. Being consistent is the optimal way to do this. But if you do fall behind for personal reasons (because #life), I’m including a mop-up session at the end of July for anyone who lost their way.

  • First of all: I feel you. So have I, and that is the LAST thing I want this to turn into. Rest assured when you sign up, it’s me doing the trainings. It’s me at the co-working sessions. It’s my resources you’re learning from and the group size is small enough that everyone gets a seat at the table.     The group is limited to 7 to ensure that I can give proper, personalised feedback to everyone. But you also get 1-1 time with my as much as once a week in the breakout rooms, if you choose to use it. This level of support is unlike any other intensive I’ve ever been in.
